Mid Month posty!

This month's class is.... 2D Animation!

I had never done any real 2D, every page hand-drawn, tree-killing, awesomeness before so I got ahead of myself with the post this month. I'm excited about this.

Deliriously tired...

So I haven't slept in over 24 hours here....I just thought I'd finally update since I have a minute. This will mostly be images of models I've created because, as previously stated, I haven't slept. Haha!

Okay so last I said I was taking geometry I think...Well after Geometry came two classes at once! Fundemantals of Physics and Project Management I! Both of which I got A's in, thank you very much. ^_^ The violin is my final from my project management class and I am very proud of it! Below the violin is a lighting project where I had to match the reference as best I could.

Next is the beast of ZBrush bootcamp that I literally just got done with. No descriptions here, just know that I sculpted all of these models to follow....

I never even got to finish this cool guy.

So that's that! On to my next class, which I am really excited for.... 2D Animation!!!

L8r folks!

Math time again...

So... I bet you can guess I've been busy! This month is my geometry class and you know how I dislike math so I thought I'd make this fun little picture of my class schedule:

Now I bet you're curious as to what I've been doing that I couldn't possibly update for months?! Well let me show you!

Cardboard Sculpt - I wasn't particularly happy about how this turned out. I ran out of time for the assignment.
This sketch was pre-production for the following colored drawings.

Pre-production for a scene created for "The Valiant Little Tailor" from Grimm's Fairytales.

Oh boy! It has been a whirlwind of busy!

Eesh! Okay, so this month is math. I hate math. But I actually have a bit of time to let everyone know what I've been up to again. Let's see... Where were we?

Oh yeah! I posted my final for my model creation class... I will first post a few more things I did during that class that I didn't have time to show you:

So that was model creation, then I was in Shading and Lighting. Everything I will post regarding this class was not modeled by myself, but I placed lighting and textures on the objects to give them 'life,' so to say:

Week 2 Project: After week one of only learning about the lights, we had to assign texture and light to the scene in week 2. I ran out of time to finish, unfortunately. That is where you may notice some textures are not placed properly.

Week 3 was better, despite a few errors I thought my scene looked more like the reference.
Week 4 was pretty intense, more texturing and working with UVs.

Aaannndd now I'm in boring math....BUT! Wait there's more! Jared [boyfriend] and I are working On a tabletop game. It has not been named yet (though there is talk of a contest) but we had our first play testing night yesterday. I must say, I'm happy with where it's going. Pictures of said play test will come soon!

One more thing! I've been BUSY. I am also working on a graphic novel. The first comic will [hopefully] be released to the public by September. For now, you can see me work on inking the cover!

EDIT:

Here is the first play test!
