I'm a Bachelor of SCIENCE!

Hello again blog perusers!

If you only care about the bare bones of "Where is that portfolio she promised?" then the immediate paragraphs and pictures that follow are just for you!

If you don't care about things like sentimentality and credits and long descriptions of how disgusting my office looks after nearly three years.... then might I suggest stopping after the video of my portfolio at the end of this section?

Yes, well... choose your own adventure. Onward!

Portfolio classes lasted for three months. Since I chose Environment Modeling as my specialty during school, I was required to produce one environment per month of class. Each environment to be modeled, textured, and lit by yours truly. I chose the reference images below to attempt to match:

Months in order, left to right. The 3rd and final month being the treehouse, approved by my professor as a diorama only. Please note that I do not actually feel like I am done with any of these. I am currently taking it easy after graduating and intend on finishing them after that.

And lastly, here is my demo reel:

**What follows is where I describe stuff you may not care about... You have been warned.

When I began this blog I thought it might be helpful for people thinking about Full Sail University as an option since, when I first looked into the college, I had a mildly difficult time sorting out the whiny woe-is-me reviews to the actually helpful ones. I also wanted to talk about the difficulty I've had getting through college as a not-so-wealthy student. It's been an incredibly tough and humbling road. I have a few people who really kept me going to thank...

From advice to just a shoulder to, quite literally at times, cry on. To putting up with endless all-nighters and times where the only reason I would eat is because he would cook me dinner. From the dishes and laundry piling up to almost entirely putting our relationship and needs on hold for months at a time. You deserve all the love and foot rubs I can give, Jared. I could not have asked for a better boyfriend and best friend. The love and encouragement you've shown, especially when I'm 'prickly' will stay with me forever. I love you.

To the friends that stuck around even when I always said 'no' to hanging out. The ones who came, without question, to the few times I could hang out. You know who you are. You made my world (office) feel quite a bit less lonely. I can't wait for this fantastic summer of hangouts and fun times! You guys are the best.

My family. For making sure I was okay every couple of days and bringing me food and occasionally doing our dishes. I love you. You have helped more than you know.

My office is an incredible mess, I have taxes to do n' junk, but I did it! I am a Bachelor of SCIENCE! :D

Now that I'm about to cry from reliving the hard times... I'm signing off. I will be updating this blog still but I will be taking a short hiatus for my mental well being. And of course...to play some damn video games finally!
